Obituary of Lorna Lee Schopperth

Lorna Lee Schopperth

of Kingsley, PA  Lorna

Lee Schopperth, 66, of Kingsley, PA passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022.  Born March 30, 1955, in Jamestown, NY, the daughter of Harry and Lois (Hallquist) Horan.

Lorna was a woman who had many passions.  She loved nature and spending hours outside gardening and planting flowers to watch them grow. She was a lover of all animals and was known to take in stray dogs because she couldn’t stand the thought of them suffering. She loved to help others, including helping the community as a lifetime blood donor. While she thrived with these activities, there was no greater love and excitement in her life more than being with her family and particularly hosting Thanksgiving. She would spend weeks preparing for this holiday where she could combine her love for cooking & baking with the joy of celebrating the day with her loved ones.

She will be dearly missed by her surviving daughters; Christine Lee Davis (Colin) of Dover, NJ and Jennifer Lynn Hawken (Barnaby) of Mount Arlington, NJ; her son, Paul Joseph Schopperth of Clarks Summit, PA, her Significant Other of 12 years, Scott Henry, her five grandchildren: Morgan, Dylan, Bella, Layton and Greyson and her brother Michael Horan (Vicki), Jamestown, NY. Lorna is predeceased by her parents, Lois and Harry as well as her brother, Robert Horan and sister Sr. Michelle Horan.
