Obituary of Matthew Kinney

Matthew Kinney
of Springville, PA

Matthew Kinney, 14, of Springville, PA passed away, Friday, October 15, 2021.  Matthew was born on November 18, 2006, in Tunkhannock, PA.

Matthew was a 9th-grade student in the Elk Lake School District.

Matthew was full of life and had a smile that lit up the room.  Matthew was an exceptional young entrepreneur who wasn't afraid of hard work and its rewards.  He loved riding quads, dirt bikes, farming, restoring old quads and 4-wheelers, and reselling them and even worked three jobs last summer including one with Agawam Farms. He loved mechanics, fixing and tweaking equipment, and enjoyed working with wood and tractor pulling. He lived to ride and loved every minute of it.
Matthew also loved his pets; Brooke, Jasper, Chuncker, Twilight, and Moses.

Survivors include mother, Kristina Kinney and stepdad Josh Rogers of Springville, PA, “Nan”, Martha Cobb of Springville and “Pop” Steve Kupscznk of Springville, grandma and grandpa, Jennifer and Alan Rogers of Springville, PA, stepsisters, Lorelai and Lydia Rogers of Lenoxville, PA, uncles Kyle, girlfriend Jocelyn Youells and lots of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

He is predeceased by his great grandmother, Gladys Cobb.
