Rock Charles Estabrook, 63, of Harford died Thursday after a long and courageous battle with leukemia.
Rock was born February 25, 1958, to the late Ralph Estabrook Sr. and Reah Seaberg.
Rock is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 37 years, Malynda; his three children Holly, Amanda, and Nikolas (Sarah); grandchildren Lexi and Lucas; and siblings Randy (Joni), Robin (Charles), Ralph Jr. (Penny), and Rhonda (Cliff). He was preceded in death by his sister Rae Suzanne.
Rock was a dedicated husband, father, and grampy. His family was the center of his life.
Rock was the owner of Estabrook Excavating. He took pride in his work and developed close relationships with his customers, who became friends.
Rock illustrated his love for his family and friends through acts of service and quality time. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved flying his Piper Cherokee. Rock was known for his dry sense of humor, silly sayings, and his story-telling abilities.
Friends may call Sunday, August 8, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Barton-Myer Funeral Home, 382 Church St., Montrose. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
