Gary G. Douglas, 67, of Rushville, PA passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at The Gardens at Tunkhannock. He was born January 25, 1953, in Montrose, PA, he was the son of the late Lamont and Kathryn [Baldwin] Douglas.
He was employed by PennDot as a Truck Driver for over 25 years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, swimming in the Rushville Creek, and riding his ATV on the dirt roads around his home where he occasionally stopped to nap under a tree and enjoyed the peaceful sounds of nature. He enjoyed to watch game shows with his wife Cindy, he was an expert at shouting answers from Jeopardy.
Gary loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren who always got him to get down on the floor with them to play games or color pictures. He would sit outside and watch them run and play for hours.
Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years Cindy [Bennett] Douglas of Lawton, PA, daughter and son-in-law, Jessica Noldy (Matthew), grandchildren, Aubree, Adalynn and Alexander, sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy Pederson (Gary) of Montrose, Pa, Sharon Hunsinger (Bill) of West Auburn, PA, Donna Bechtel (Lee) of Vestal, NY, Phyllis Rhoden (Eurie) of San Antonio, FL, brothers, Rodney Douglas of Lawton, PA, Dale Wells (Vera) of St. Joseph, PA, sister in law Margaret Wells of St. Petersburg, FL, and several nieces and nephews
In addition to his parents, a brother Richard Wells predeceased him.
