Marlene Bailey, 68, of Montrose, PA passed away, Tuesday, November 10, 2020. Born June 13, 1952 in Pittston, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Marion [Reed] Weitz.
She graduated from Pittston Area High School. After graduating, she enrolled in respiratory therapy training in the Triple Cities and went to work at the former Montrose General Hospital. She later took computer training and worked for the former County National Bank in Montrose. She worked at the Natural Resource Conservation Service as an Office Manager and retired in June 2014.
She married David Bailey on November 11, 1978 and worked on the family farm.
She was a very hard worker, with a tremendous eye for organization and detail.
She loved kids, animals, flowers, and taking trips with her husband.
She was a very active member of Franklin Forks United Methodist Church.

Survivors include Husband, David Bailey a brother, William "Bill" Weitz of Pittston, PA, sister Priscilla Kobeski and her husband Rick of Moosic, PA, an aunt, Doris Jones of Fairdale, PA, an Uncle James Reed of Florida, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Marlene was predeceased by her brother Richard, and three beloved sisters-in-law, Diane Beyea, Carol Engle, and Mary Carey
