Thelma Mae Black, 95, resident of Gracious Living, Montrose, PA went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, October 4, 2020. Born February 16, 1925 in Shippensburg, PA, she was the daughter of Irvin William and Clara A. [Reed] Yohe, Sr. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years Charles C. Black in 2006 and also 4 brothers, 2 sisters.
She was a homemaker who loved Frostys and KitKats. She collected refrigerator magnets and loved her flowers, her grandchildren and pictures of family.
She attended Forest Lake Baptist Church as her health allowed her.
Survivors include sons, Dale Black (Sandra) of Hop Bottom, PA, Kenneth Black (Marilyn) of Halifax, PA, and David W. Black of Scranton, PA, a daughter, Diane Bull (Ronald) of Washington, NC, 11 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren and 2 brothers Chester and Irvin Jr. (Sonny), both of Shippensburg, PA.
