Mr. Nasser was a great man who I had a tremendous amount of respect for. He taught me so much about coaching basketball along with his son Billy. I will always be indebted to him for that.
He gave so much to Elk Lake sports over the years and to the Elk Lake School District.
My Condolences to the entire Nasser family.

I am so sad to hear of Dick's passing. He has been a a friend and dedicated worker for the causes which we both worked on for many years. He had a marvelous background and was a true inspiration to his many students over the years. Even his age and his health did not deter him from being devoted to those causes which supported wholeheartedly. My last conversation was at a recent Republican Committee meeting at which he reached for my arm to tell me "If there's anything I can do for your committee let me know." That's who he was! A sad farewell to a fine gentleman. My condolences to his great family. May he rest in peace.

To the Nasser family. How sorry we are to hear of coach Nasser passing away. So many memories for me over the years. He was the first high school coach to give me a chance to play varsity baseball as a freshman. He touched many lives both in and out of school. He will be remembered as a great man.
