She was a published poet in several poetry groups and her poems are in more than a dozen volumes.
Her family wishes to express thanks to the caring staff of Meadow View, her home for the past two years, to her doctors and nurses at EMHS, and to Pastor Bob of Bridgewater Baptist. A special thanks goes out to the wonderful nurses from Hospice of Sacred Heart for their kindness and support in her final weeks. Her greatest desire was to see the face of Jesus.
