Obituary of A. LeRoy "Stub" Aldrich
Alfred LeRoy “Stub” Aldrich, 91, of Bridgewater Twp., PA passed away, Saturday, July 20, 2019 at his home. Born April 3, 1928 in Bridgewater Twp., PA, he was the son of the late Alfred LeRoy Sr. & Mable [Tyler] Aldrich. His late wife Lois H. [Clink] Aldrich predeceased him in 1997.
Stub took pride in carrying forward the work of his father, as a dairy farmer and operator of Aldrich Farm Inc., a Century Farm, where he started milking cows at the age of 6.
He valued and modeled strong work ethic in all that he did, passing this on as a life lesson to his children and grandchildren.
Stub had a love of Ford Trucks and Tractors and enjoyed hunting, even taking trips to hunt Caribou and Elk, but he especially enjoyed hunting whitetail deer. He spoke often of fond memories playing baseball and dancing with his wife, Lois.
He was a longtime member of the East Bridgewater Community Church.
Survivors include, sister Doris Smalser of Lake Winola, PA. daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly & Gary Travis and son and daughter-in-law Scott & Valerie Aldrich of Montrose, PA.
Grandchildren include Jennifer & Nathan Aldrich, Hilary Travis (Fiancé Ben Doney) & Emily Watts(Husband Dustin).
Great grandchildren include, Mikayla Glover and Aubrey Doney.
LeRoy was predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law, Betty & Art Robertson and Marion & Robert Downey. As well as brother-in-law, Ralph Smalser.

Services: 3 PM, Wednesday at the Bartron-Myer Funeral Home, Inc., Montrose, PA 18801.
Visitation: 1-3 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
