of Franklin Hill, PA

Richard Osborn, 69, of Franklin Hill, PA passed away peacefully, Thursday, May 10, 2018 at his home.  Born June 17, 1948 in Montrose, PA, he was the son of the late Harry J. and Ruth I. [Lewis] Osborn.

Rich, as his friends and family knew him, lived by the Semper Fidelis motto as he was a proud Marine, father and “Papa” to his grandkids whom he adored. He was a great and strong willed man even as his body weakened. Rich loved his wife “Mooch” of nearly 46 years like they were newlyweds. He would try to fix and repair about anything and was always willing to help a friend or neighbor.  Joke telling was one of his famous traits and he was very quick witted with a funny comment. Over the years his hobbies have included working on race cars, bowling, shooting pool, hunting, fishing, Western movies, crossword and jigsaw puzzles and now finally being able to play the piano.
