Dolores L. (Vreeland) Mood, 78, of Montrose, PA passed away, Thursday, August 29, 2019 at her home, surrounded by loved ones.
Dolores was born September 28, 1940 in Hackensack, NJ and had lived in the Montrose area for the last 50 years. She started a family early in life and raised two sets of daughters. She felt her life purpose was motherhood and family was her pride and passion. She worked as a hostess at the Montrose Inn, opened a fabric shop and was employed by the former Ames Department Store as a Retail Manager. She was a member of the Endless Mountains Riding Club in the 1970’s and, in recent years, she discovered a love of drumming and participated in a drumming circle. In retirement, she enjoyed travel and delighted in her grandchildren.
We will remember and miss her joyful embrace of life, her determination, loving generosity and youthful spirit.
