Joseph H. Conigliaro, 93, of Montrose, PA passed away, Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Meadow View Senior Living Center, Montrose, PA. Born March 5, 1924 in Carbondale, PA, he was the son of the late Nicholas Conigliaro and Helen [Whitman] Conigliaro- Liburdi.
He was employed by International Paper as an Electrician.
He was a member of St. Brigids Parish, the American Legion Post 1700, West Endicott, New York and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
Joe enjoyed snowmobiling, following the New York Giants football, fishing, boating, camping, bottled Genesee Beer, and especially woodworking, making many items for family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of almost 45 years, Lucile [Glover] Conigliaro of Montrose, PA, daughters, Bonnie Utter of Rome, NY, Kathleen Tarrien of Endicott, NY, son, Curtis Conigliaro of Brackney, PA, step daughters and spouses, Dawn & Cliff Taylor of Montrose, PA, Carol Luce, Lorie & Dick Thompson of Syracuse, NY, LouAnn Rogers & Gary Lupole of St. Joseph, PA, step sons & spouses , Garry & Kathy Hinchcliffe of Forest Lake , PA, Allan Hinchcliffe & Tammy Scott of Brookdale, PA, Jimmie & Tammy Hinchcliffe of TN, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, his step father John Liburdi, all his siblings, and 2 step grandsons predeceased him.
Services: 7:00 pm Monday at Bartron-Myer Funeral Home, Inc., Montrose, PA 18801.
Visitation: 1 hour prior to services on Monday
