Big Buck white tail hunter, long bearded turkey gobbler hunter, George Legg went to the happy hunting grounds, on Monday, February 19, 2018.
Survivied by his best friend and wife Dale, sons and daughter-in-law, Mavrick, and Chris (Mandy) all of Brackney, PA, two grandchildren Wyatt and Lily, brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack (Rosemarie) Legg, Jerry (Beverly) Legg, Bruce (Eudonna) Legg, several nieces and nephews, and good friend and hunting partner, Mike Giangrieco, Charm and John Michael.
His parents, George J. Sr. and Mildred [Nicholson] Legg and a son George Legg III, predeceased him.
He retired from IBM after 25 years. He was former owner of Choconut Valley Inn for 25 years. He spent 18 years as constable of Choconut township. George played Santa Claus in the area for over 30 years for many events. He also started baseball teams for the Choconut area kids.
Visitation: on Thursday 6-8 pm at Bartron-Myer Funeral Home, Inc., Montrose, PA.
