Marlene J. Lyon

Marlene J. “Molly” Lyon 81, of Hallstead, PA passed away gracefully, Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Wilson Hospital, Johnson City, NY.  Born January 6, 1936 in Binghamton, NY, she was the daughter of the late Leo and J. Eileen [Nelson] Gowe.


She was a homemaker and an avid quilter and enjoyed cooking and was a collector of angel figurines. 


Survivors include husband, Dewey Lyon of Hallstead, PA, daughter & son-in-law, Nancy and Michael Grames of Petersburg, MI, sons & daughters-in-law, Gary & Elaine Lyon of Hallstead, PA, George and Gemini Lyon of Hallstead, PA, Grandchildren, Michael Grames Jr., Jacob Grames, Samuel Lyon, Amos Lyon, Levi Lyon, Leanna (Bill) Hulse, Danielle DeGaramo, Edward DeGaramo, Christy (Justin), Makala Wilbur, Melanie LaRue, Brianna LaRue, Gabriel Daniels, Great Grandchildren , Christian, Julia, Haley, Zoey, Sierra, Isabella, John Michael, Arianna, Nevaeh and numerous nieces & nephews, daughter.  She was predeceased by daughter June DeGaramo, brother, Leo Gowe Jr., sisters Veronica Lockett and Loretta DeLousia and great-grandson Trent Hulse.

Services:  Thursday 2:00 pm at Conklin Forks United Methodist Church, 4420 Brady Hill Road, Binghamton, NY 13903.

Visitation: 1 hour prior at the Church.
